Choose Infrastructure for servers, VMs and Kubernetes monitoring. Choose APM when you also need application logs and tracing. APM already includes Infrastructure. You can mix both across your fleet.

Each Infrastructure node adds 20M app log events a month. Each APM node adds 25M log events and 25M trace spans. Network devices add 2M syslog events each. These allowances are shared across your account, with logs and traces counted separately. A span is one operation within a trace.

Metrics, system logs, and API and uptime checks from your own nodes are unlimited and free. Application and custom logs use the pooled quota included with paid nodes. Extra usage is charged after that quota is used.

Log events are pooled across your account. A busy node can use quota contributed by quieter nodes. Extra log charges begin only when the account’s total log usage exceeds its pooled quota. Traces have a separate pooled quota.

One hundred APM nodes add quota for 2.5 billion log events and 2.5 billion trace spans each month. Logs and traces are counted separately. Infrastructure monitoring is included.

Netdata adds no retention fee. Your data stays on your infrastructure, and you provide the compute and storage. Keeping data longer can increase your own storage costs.

Infrastructure and APM nodes count together. Nodes 1–50 use the list rate, 51–100 receive 5% off, 101–200 receive 10% off, and 201–500 receive 20% off. Each discount applies only to nodes in that band. Above 500 nodes, contact us for Enterprise pricing.

Node counts and network flow rates use the 90th percentile. The highest 10% of measurements are excluded when calculating the billable level, reducing the effect of short spikes.

Monthly pay as you go uses monthly rates and bills Real User Monitoring, Synthetic Browser Tests and AI Investigations by actual usage. Subscription minimums apply to active annual offerings. Yes. Choose Annual subscription or Monthly pay as you go once for the whole account. The same choice sets the rates and subscription treatment throughout the page and calculator. NetFlow Monitoring retains its minimum capacity in both options.

An active annual subscription starts at $250 per month for up to 500,000 RUM sessions, $250 for up to 125,000 browser runs, or $300 for up to 100 AI investigations. Using less does not reduce that starting price. The calculator highlights the minimum when your volume falls below it. Monthly pay as you go bills these offerings by actual usage. NetFlow Monitoring retains its 5,000 flows/sec minimum in either billing option. Set usage to 0 to leave an offering out of the estimate.

Yes. Annual subscriptions start at $250 per month for 500,000 Real User Monitoring sessions or 125,000 Synthetic Browser Tests runs. Their annual rates are $0.50 per 1,000 sessions and $2 per 1,000 runs. Monthly pay-as-you-go rates are $0.625 per 1,000 sessions and $2.50 per 1,000 runs. Choose billing once for the whole account.

NetFlow Monitoring starts at $200 per month with annual billing, or $250 with monthly billing, and includes 5,000 flows per second. Extra capacity costs $40 per 1,000 flows per second at annual rates, or $50 with monthly billing.

Network Device Monitoring tracks device health and topology through SNMP, priced per device. NetFlow Monitoring tracks network traffic through NetFlow, sFlow and IPFIX, priced by flows per second. They are separate offerings.

One test from one location counts as one run. Five tests from three locations every five minutes use about 129,600 runs in a 30-day month.

Annual AI Investigations subscriptions start at $300 per month for 100 investigations: $3 per included investigation, then $6 per extra investigation. Monthly pay as you go costs $6 per investigation. The billing switch applies to all products.
